THE LISTENING ROOM

Hello, friend. Welcome to Tea with Tay. I’m Tay, and I’m so glad you’re here. Go ahead and pour yourself something warm, tea, coffee, whatever feels like comfort to you, and just sit with me for a few minutes.

I want to tell you why this exists, why Love Your Legacy. You see, a while back, I started thinking about the woman who shaped me, my grandmother Mary. The friends who’ve sat at my table. I realized something. The most precious things they left me weren’t things at all. It was the way they prayed. The way they made a home feel like a refuge. The recipes they never wrote down, but somehow we all remember. The faith they lived so quietly that you almost missed it, until you needed it. That’s legacy. Not fame, not fortune. It’s the love you leave in people. That’s where love becomes legacy.

That’s what I want this little corner to be. Every day, a little moment with God, shared together. A scripture that’s been sitting on my heart, a prayer for the hard days, something beautiful to make with your hands, or just a story from my own life, lessons and all. Some days it’ll be deep. Some days it’ll be flour and sugar and laughter. But all of it will be real.

So here’s my invitation: come back tomorrow. Bring your tea. Bring your tired, your hopeful, your place in between. There’s room for all of it here.

Let me pray us out. Lord, thank you for whoever is listening right now. Meet them in the small, ordinary moments today. Remind them that the way they love people is already becoming a legacy. Amen.
